May 20: bib and packet pickup is today from 2-6pm at the Marine Mammal Museum, 3625 Brigantine Blvd in Brigantine. You can also pickup your bib and packet on race morning. Thank you!

Celebrate Marine Mammal Stranding Center's 44th Anniversary and having responded to over 5,700 stranded whales, dolphins, seals and sea turtles! This 5K Run/Walk is one of the best races at the Jersey Shore.

To allow for social distancing at the start we will be scoring all runners based on 'chip time'. This is your individual measurement from your start to finish. We will have an open start line from 8:00 till 8:30 a.m. Elite runners going for the win may self seed themselves to the front. There is no need to stand crowded together at the start line.

The official start time will be 8:00 a.m. The start line will remain open for late starts till 8:10 a.m. Course will close at 9:30 a.m.

Award Ceremony: Awards will be available for pickup at the conclusion of the event, or throughout the following week at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center. All participants will also receive a custom finisher certificate, emailed at the conclusion of the event.

This is a 5K Race with Chip Timing and Results Kiosks by Second Wind Race Timing - "Empowering Race Directors". Results available on kiosks instantly upon finishing! Online results published and updated while race is in progress!

Walkers welcome (must finish in 50 minutes or less to get official time, but you are still welcome even if you walk slower).

Race entry fees: $25 until May 1st. $35 May 2nd until 6 pm on May 20;

$45 after 6 pm, Friday May 20.

HOW TO RACE FOR FREE: Become a Fundraiser when you enter. Fundraisers who raise at least $200 in online donations get their entry fee refunded!

Packet pick-up: Race bibs and shirts may be picked up on Friday, May 20 between 4 and 6 pm at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, 3625 Brigantine Blvd, Brigantine, NJ. Race Day Packet Pickup begins @ 7:00am on the beach behind Laguna Grill at 14th Street and the ocean.
