The Kayla Bernardi Bee Positive Foundation was started after Kayla lost her battle to leukemia in 2015. As a family we choose to stay focused on the positive and make a difference in our community. Kayla's nickname was Busy Bee and so it was a natural name to attach to her foundation. We raise money to spread throughout the community in her foundations name. We hope that attaching a "Bee Positive" message inspired people beyond the monetary donation. Losing Kayla continues to pain us in a way that is indescribable, raising funds in her name inspires us to continue her legacy and "Bee Positive" even on the hardest of days. Kayla’s birthday was January 31st, so every year we do a 5K Fun Run Walk to honor her legacy and raise money to spread throughout many communities.

Come out and have a GREAT time participating in a fun run/walk that will embrace the spirit of Kayla. After the run, we will keep the BEE Positive vibe going with the POST RUN BEE POSITIVE PARTY AT DUST BOWL BREWERY.
