Pack your pups and tennis shoes for Family Resource Center of Northeast Georgia's (FRC) 2nd Annual Pups for Prevention 5K and Fun Run! Pups for Prevention is a 5K fundraiser with the mission of promoting community awareness of Child Abuse Prevention and showcasing local support for Northeast Georgia families. While supporting an important cause, this event also gives participants the opportunity to show off some of the cutest pups around! This fundraiser supports FRC's mission of strengthening families and nurturing children by providing critical funds that bolster the incredible array of services offered to families in need throughout our communities.
Register individually or create your own team! Teams can include families, businesses, or just groups of friends - we want YOU to have a great time celebrating and supporting our community. During the event, Pups for Prevention will recognize and award the top three cutest pups so dress up your fur babies or let them showcase their natural cuteness for the chance to win! A panel of judges will vote on the top three cutest dogs who will also be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Sponsors for this event are needed and are more than welcome to set up booths at the event to promote healthy habits for humans and their pups!
Free snacks will be provided to attendees.
Sign up for the 5K below, support our teams/individuals with a financial donation and follow along on social media to enjoy the incredible day alongside FRC to prevent child abuse, nurture children, and strengthen families in Habersham, White, Rabun, Stephens, and Banks Counties.
