The Tampa VA Network hosts the Fallen Hero 5K. Bravery, strength, hard work, commitment, and dedication are just a few words to describe the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for the country. Join other participants at Fort DeSoto Park to remember the fallen. Remembrance signs are available for purchase, which will be placed along the route, pavilion, and water stations. Note that Fort DeSoto charges a beach parking fee in addition to the tolls and charges you pay to get to the park. For questions, contact the event coordinators directly.
