This race benefits The Stephen G. Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund

Steve was young, vibrant and ambitions when he was so needlessly taken from us on September 11th, 2001, He was a funny, charismatic and loving son, brother, uncle and friend and was climbing a promising career ladder at Cantor Fitzgerald. He was one of the best and the brightest, a symbol of what America lost that tragic day. This event is to honor and remember all of those we lost. Event t-shirt for first 100 registered.

Kids' Fun Run starts at the adjacent Gorham High School track at 8:30AM. Kids 8 years old and under will run one lap (.25 miles) and kids 9 to 12 years old will run 2 laps (.50 miles).

5K will start after all the parents return from the kids' fun and after the send-off of our uniformed emergency responders who complete the 5K course in full gear (!). Typically the runners and walkers start around 9:15.

If race is canceled because of extreme weather conditions or any conditions beyond our control, we will not be able to refund registration fees.
