Join Main Street Highland Park for a day of fun starting with the 12th Run in the Park 5k. The course, closed to traffic during the race, starts on North 5th Ave by the high school and then heads downhill towards New Brunswick for a fast first mile. The race then winds it’s way through the historic streets of Highland Park before finishing on the high school track. There is a link to the course map further down this page. The event welcomes all participants including strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers.

The race is a USATF NJ Paul Miller Autogroup Grand Prix 500 point race.

Kids races will take place on the track after the 5k at approximately 10am. Kids races distances will be: a toddler dash, 200m (half lap), 400m (full lap), and 800m (2 laps). Children may participate in more than one.

5k Registration

$25 before 3/14, then $30 from 3/15 to 4/14, then $35 from 4/15 to 4/28. $40 from 4/29 to race day. $3 off for USATF members except race day registration.

All 5k participants will receive a t-shirt and reusable bag. T-shirt size is not guaranteed for all registrants.

Kids Races

$12 before 4/14, then $13 from 4/15. $15 on race day
