Tahoe Mountain Milers Running Club – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (ID: 68-0356566) was instigated in 1995 by Charlie Lincoln who held a meeting at his store, “World’s Toughest” running and triathlon store. Larry Brilliant was elected the first President of the Tahoe Mountain Milers Running Club. A quarter century later TMMRC continues to offer some of the most iconic trail and road races in Northern Nevada.

Our biggest event of the year, the TRTER 55K, 50 Mile and 100 Mile brings in world-class runners from all over the world. Another local favorite is the Nevada Day Classic, where runners and walkers complete a 2 mile or 8K course before the Nevada Day Parade. The last half mile of which funnels down the parade route as hot air balloons take off and early bird parade onlookers set up for the impending start of the parade. Because Nevada Day officially falls on Halloween, costumes are highly encouraged and rewarded. Fresh Tracks 5K Snowshoe race kicks off the training season each year in Tahoe, while Kokanee Trail Runs celebrates the magnificence of Autumn in South Lake Tahoe.
