Founded in 1983, the Essex Running Club takes pride in being one of New Jersey's friendliest running clubs.
For over 35 years, we have embraced people of all ages and abilities—health-conscious runners and walkers seeking to get in shape, stay motivated and improve their fitness; competitive runners interested in training, racing, and team events; and adventurous trail runners, ultra runners, and multisport athletes.
What brings and keeps us together, besides exercise, is information, advice, and support; fun and exciting events; camaraderie, friendship, and community. ERC is both a running club and a social club!
