Come join us in this historic event along the scenic coastline of Delaware, our First State, to support our Wounded Warriors and Homeless Veterans. The event is OPEN TO ALL! Our vision is to bring our military and civilian communities together to build stronger relationships. The race will encompass four picturesque beaches. Beginning at the historic Fort Mile's Parade Field, Cape Henlopen State Park, and Rehoboth Beach. Participants will travel through the state park and race down the beachline, simulating marching on the desert sands of the Middle East. The event is divided into 5k and Half Marathon Challenges. Participants are able to choose to compete in a run, race-walk, and military march (Trail race with a 15lb. pack). ** A "Military March" is a Race Walk/Run.

Packet pickup will be done on Friday, May 12th, at American Legion Post 17, Lewes, DE (113 American Legion Road), from 11 am – 9 pm. Between 6 pm-8 pm, the Post will have a cash bar/food and Live Music. Come out, get your packet, hang out, and meet some of our staff and fellow participants!

The event has three major components: Competition, Education, and Celebration. The race through the state parks and beaches of Delaware is a competition for all levels and will honor the men and women who have sacrificed for our freedoms in the Middle East. The finish line will encompass the other components. With the assistance of volunteers, a Middle East Historical Exhibit will be available for everyone to enjoy. This walk-through history will help connect our communities with the military members attending the event. Lastly, there will be a “Celebration of Warriors” with local vendors and live music from 11 am – 6 pm. Stay, enjoy the celebration, and connect with people, military and civilian, from across the United State of America.

TOSS4VETS.COM - Look for our Cornhole Tournaments! We have two categories: Competitive and Social/Backyard (casual). On the day of our event, the tournament will start at 1 pm.

​ Everyone pre-registered (by April 30, 2023) and signed in to the Race4Warriors event will be rewarded with a commemorative race medallion and an event t-shirt. Everyone registered after April 30, 2023, will receive the same rewards as supplies last. However, everyone will leave with the knowledge of participating in an event that truly supports and honors our Veterans! Our women and men deployed to the Middle East do not stop due to the weather; so, rain or shine (not to include weather that makes the environment unsafe to be outside), come out and enjoy our race and festivities.
