The 2022 FLR 5k is an open course. This means that roads will not be closed for this event, runners must be cautious and share the road with drivers. Traffic control will be present at 3 busy intersections to aid in traffic stops and to allow participants across the intersection. Be prepared to stop if needed. While we welcome competitive runners to FLR events, safety and fun are our first concerns. This is a fun run to support a great cause!

5k participants must be at least 14 years of age by race day.

No refunds are issued unless the race is canceled at the fault of Four-Legged Running.

Maximum of 500 participants.

One dog per racer is permitted to race, and a maximum capacity of 50 dogs will be allowed to race. If you are not able to register your pet due to capacity, please bring a spectator to stay with your pet while you race so that you can all attend the Downtown Dog Day event after the race!

Strollers are allowed and must start racing at the back of the pack.
