Coast Guard Marathon

Hosted in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, this half marathon will start downtown, then run along our riverfront (by Coast Guard Park and the Sailing Center). After that, runners will loop through the U.S. Coast Guard Base and Air Station and finally return downtown via Elizabeth City State University, a historically black college and the only four-year collegiate aviation education program in North Carolina.

We’re thrilled to introduce this new USATF (USA Track & Field) certified and sanctioned race in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard to both military and non-military participants! It’s going to be a day full of fun and celebration and we hope you’ll come enjoy it with us in our Harbor of Hospitality®.
